MUIC’s mission is to produce well-rounded and multilingual graduates, representing a wide range of major and minor disciplines, who are prepared to meet the challenges of living and working in a diverse and globalized world. City Information:

Nakhon Pathom is a city in central Thailand, capital of the Nakhon Pathom Province, on the outskirts of Bangkok. One of the most important landmarks is the giant Phra Pathom Chedi. The city is also home to Thailand's only Bhikkhuni temple Wat Song Thammakanlayani which is also open to women from abroad.

•    Sophomore Standing
•    16 Stetson credits completed at time of application
•    2.50 cumulative Stetson University GPA at time of application and departure
•    Good academic, judicial, and financial standing at time of application and departure
•    All students are expected to enroll in the equivalent of 12 credits while abroad 


The Stetson Exchange program is competitive. Enrollment is limited in all programs. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee admission to a given program in a given semester.

Students are responsible for the cost of their own transportation to the site, including visas and ground transportation if required.

Specific arrival and depature dates will be shared with students admitted to the program.

Housing Information.


Approximate Costs for Fall 2014:
Accommodations 5,000-8,000 Baht/month
Utilities 1,500 Baht/month
Food/Meals 6,000-9,000 Baht/month
Books/Course Materials 3,000 Baht/month
Local Transportation 2,000 Baht/month

-Students should also budget for a visa, personal expenditures, and airfare.


Please note: Airfare, transportation, as well as students' visas, and other documentation required by the study-abroad country is the financial responsibility of the student. 
Food, housing, excursions, local transportation and any other other personal costs  are the responsibility of the student and not included in the tuition fee paid to SU.


While SU and the foreign institution may produce documents required for students to secure a visa; the processes, cost and responsibility of securing a visa are the student's alone.
SU cannot secure visas for students per the requirements of consulates.
We encourage students and their families to begin researching the visa process, and requirements, at the point of application.
