Study Abroad this Summer in Dublin Internship Program - 6 weeks Why Dublin? Modern Dublin is defining the new image of Ireland with its thriving economy, social programs, and art scene. Yet even in the midst of change, Dublin preserves its history, evident in its architecture and in its political, religious, and social institutions. Dublin plays many roles for Ireland, as the Republic's political capital, the home of past and present writers of international stature, and the center of the island's phenomenal economic growth. Dublin also affords easy access to the beauties of the countryside, seashore, and mountains.
The IES Abroad Dublin Summer Internship Program Excellent internship placements representative of Dublin's exciting political, literary, and business life are available to IES Abroad students. Participating in an internship not only allows you to develop an international résumé, but also fully integrates you into daily life in Dublin. In addition to practical work in the field, you attend an academic seminar for which you earn six credits and are provided with a valuable opportunity to synthesize the practical and theoretical components of your experience with a continued focus on intercultural competency.
