Stetson students planning to study or intern abroad on a Stetson-approved program are welcome to apply for scholarships through this online application.  Scholarships are primarily need-based; however, merit is also taken into consideration.  While priority will be given to students studying on Stetson programs (exchange or faculty-led), WORLD will also consider applications for students studying abroad on qualifying affiliate programs through CIEE, IES Abroad, and The Education Abroad Network (TEAN). Programs must be credit-bearing in order to qualify for a scholarship.

-Scholarships are given through the student account; no cash awards are given.
-Please note that students are eligible to receive up to one study abroad scholarship per year (either fall, spring, or summer).
-Late applications will not be accepted. If you run into technical difficulties with the online website, you must contact WORLD prior to the application deadline. We recommend that you submit your application early to avoid any last minute issues.
-AI: Stetson's Honor Code prohibits "unauthorized aid" when submitting assignments and essays. ChatGPT and other large language models count as unauthorized aid. While large language models could potentially be used as a brainstorming tool, WORLD does not allow you to use ChatGPT or other forms of AI to write your essays for you.
